Modal button trigger

Internal use only. These components are available only within Atlassian.

Before you start

ModalContextProvider is required at the top of your application, above this trigger.

Read the original modal dialog usage documentation first.

See Entry Points for shared asynchronous usage guidelines and the internal API documentation.

Asynchronous usage

Follow the shared Modal trigger usage guidelines. All Modal trigger customizations also apply to this variant.

Use a clear button label describing the action that opens the modal. Button appearance props apply to the trigger; the entry point supplies the modal content.

Provide modalTitle for the default loading fallback and loadingText for its message. These props do not set the title or content of the loaded modal; the loaded entry point supplies its own.

Accessibility

Internationalization

Provide internationalized text for all user-facing messages and accessible labels, including loading states, error states, modal titles, and controls where applicable. Internationalization is required to make this text accessible in the user's language.

Translate the button label, modalTitle, and loadingText, plus all text in the loaded modal and custom fallbacks. modalTitle and loadingText configure fallback content only; the loaded entry point supplies its own title. Use your application's internationalization provider to resolve these messages.
